It has come to our attention that Astral Media has claimed to City Staff and some City Councillors that it has removed billboards which have no permit. From today’s Globe:

The good news is Councillor Moscoe, Rae and Vaughan moved motions that called for Astral Media to remove all of their illegal signs before the City enters into a contract with them. Deputy Mayor Pantalone then moved a motion to refer all motions to the City Manager - this means the City Manager will provide [...]

Because we couldn’t find any and it has claimed that it does operate shelters.
