Toronto’s Newist Illegal Billboard is at Queen and McCaul
These Harry Potter signs just went up late last week at 2 McCaul Street:
We don’t know who is operating them. This property does not appear on Strategic Media’s list of leased locations.
As you can see from the aerial photograph on Bing Maps, these signs are obstructing windows.
There is no signs by-law enforcement during the municipal workers strike, with the exception of signs that pose an immediate public safety hazard.

There is something utterly surreal about Toronto – how gravity and common sense do not appear to apply… and now the normal limit of human tolerance for corporate excess should have been exceeded a long time ago.
And yet the good folks of Toronto live with this visual psoriasis day in, day out – while the Man slowly ramps up the ugly quotient.
I count my blessings every single day out here in bucolic Victoria B.C. where messages, larger than life – are pasted in our face… with no choice and no escape.
