IllegalSigns.ca Catches CBS Outdoor’s Butchers in the Act of Destroying Ten Trees On Davenport Road

We’ve taken a look at illegal tree cutting in the past, but this is the first time we have caught the butchers in the act.
On Saturday afternoon, CBS Outdoor destroyed over ten trees without any permits on Davenport Road, north of Dupont Street.
These are the tree stumps that CBS Outdoor left behind:
Here is a closeup of the butchers’ license plate, D60 95H:

The chief butcher (photo above) accused us of being from IllegalSigns.ca and was really adamant that we not publish his photograph on the Internet.

The “chief butcher”also said that the two signs were legal and that the trees had been cut down on Toronto Hydro Property.
He also said that these signs had permits and that he did not need a permit to cut down the trees which is why he most likely was doing this on a Saturday..
He also does not like being called a “Schlep for CBS” and he may hit your bike tire with a rake if you do this but he is too cowardly to follow up on his tire whacking with anything meaniful when challenged to do so.
Let’s hope Urban Forestry charges this bum and CBS.
[Notice the rake in his hand. It is a Toronto Hydro Property, but not a right of way. -Rami
