We have discovered another Pattison Pillar built illegally on the road allowance, this time at the Shoppers Drug Mart in Leslieville at 956 Queen Street East:

The sign is located on Verral Avenue and Queen Street. It is literally on Verral Avenue. The property line for 953 Queen Street East can be seen in this photograph:

You will notice that the property line is located at the edge of the parking lot. This angle will help you see where the sign is installed:

The sign is permitted to be setback from the road allowance by 2 metres, but the sign is not only on the road allowance, it is obstructing the use of a fire hydrant. This sign has a permit that required it to be setback from the road allowance by two feet. If it was built legally, it would be obstructing a parking space, not a fire hydrant.
